Even with long-term television contracts on the horizon from Nanlina's blog

Pittsburgh arguably has the Mut 21 coins best defense in the conference, and it has gifted pass-catchers, but they simply fell apart down the stretch after starting out the year 11-0. Part of this has been a countless number of drops made by Steelers pass-catchers, but Pittsburgh also wants better quarterback play from Ben Roethlisberger as he gears up for what could wind up being his final season in the league. In accordance with Football Outsiders' DVOA metric, Roethlisberger ranked 20th among 33 quarterbacks who have thrown at least 200 moves last season. For reference, Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Tom Brady -- most of quarterbacks who reached the conference championship this past season -- composed the top four on this list. Roethlisberger should be more efficient if Pittsburgh wants to contend against K.C. in 2021.

Edge rusher and the secondary are big needs for Tennessee this offseason after standing 30th against the pass in DVOA this past year. Assessing the likes of J.J. Watt could be a start towards addressing the pass rusher place, but contemplating the veteran is on the back-nine of his career, he likely won't be able to fix this unit independently. If they were to create major splashing by obtaining Yannick Ngakoue or Shaq Barrett, that could end up being enormous improvements to assist get after the following season and put them in contention with the Chiefs. As for the secondary, choices like Richard Sherman may be intriguing to match with the corners Tennessee boasts. Whether it reaches the stratosphere of $190M-$195M -- which the most optimistic of brokers are awaiting -- remains to be seen, however I'd be surprised if it doesn't at least sit $185M.

The idea of this hitting the potential flooring of $175M seems remote at best based on what I'm hearing, but I'd still caution against those projecting the standard feeding frenzy in the onset of the league season that we have become accustomed to. I continue to view ample signals that owners, stung by the pandemic as well as the inability to meet their revenue goals in 2020 and perhaps in 2021 too, will be ready to hold the lineup more on paying and take aim at the NFL's middle class, and it could result in an offseason that more closely resembles the drip-by-drip nature of baseball offseason, instead of the standard pace of a typical hot stove season.

Even with long-term television contracts on the horizon, if an owner was likely to want to bargain shop in 2021 and series out the market, there are considerable reasons (excuses?) Uncertainty about the level of fans in the stands in 2021, after having almost none in 2020, also having a limit stagnant at best and with all the final details of the cap likely not being finalized until shortly before free agency starts next year creates a possible climate for owners to cheap Madden 21 coins sit back and waitrather than rushing in with both hands, throwing contracts to fill as many roster holes as possible a month from today.
