From one perspective, yes. However from Weiweismart's blog

It's just difficult to plenty of Animal Crossing Items people to see one of their favourite game companies languish like this, myself included. It seems just like you are cheated purchasing this system and hardly any significant franchise/AAA names are released on it.

I agree. Can it be Iwata dying? Reggie leaving? Or only an overall change in business mindset? It is really disappointing. I'm not actually into Xbox and PS, I have been a Nintendo fan girl. I used to love how they seemed to care about making entertaining games rather than just money. It just feels like the spark has gone. I hope it comes back. .

Entirely agree. I had been confident that Nintendo would understand the expectations that would come with announcing a 50 second general direct instead of using the"mini" qualifier or even just doing several of these statements via twitter like they've been performing for the past year. But I was wrong. They sincerely seem to think that direct was worth the entire year + wait and we still haven't gotten any advice on major franchises such as you mentioned, and somehow obtained a 2022 date for a sequel to a game which honestly does not need you. Splatoon 2 already felt more like an expansion than worthy of being a full fledged sequel, but guessed they would do what they do with Smash and kart and launch one per console, but now they're just giving us a different one that most likely won't be all that different and likely would have been served as a growth than a complete on sequel. Meanwhile no Metroid news. Not even a remaster announcement which people have been claiming has been coming for like 3 years now I think. I do not doubt at all most of you who are complaining are young adult/adult players. I also think a lot of you once more had wayyy too high of expectations. You all need to keep in mind that Nintendo's focused market are kids, families, and casual gamers. While they have thrown more mature/"hardcore" gamers a couple titles like BOTW, Fire Emblem, and the bonus levels in Odyssey, one of the main focuses are having play that is accessible for as many individuals as you can.

Being mad about things that don't exist seems so exhausting and sad to me personally. Why not people only play games they like? I will never have the time and cash to perform all the excellent games available. I just don't get why being angry is so important to a people. If you don't like something, do not think about it. Stop caring. Put the energy in to things you want.

From one perspective, yes. However, there'll always be new kids, families, and casual gamers for Nintendo to appeal to. Nintendo understands which demographic they want to appeal to and know how to do it successfully. What is wrong with this? I am not really in their own demographic anymore and will perform the couple games they release that do seem interesting to me personally.

I think that it was a bad idea for Nintendo to create another splatoon match for the change because they had splatoon two and this game had a fairly big community and participant base and buy Animal Crossing New Horizons Items that I also was a bit disappointed that we didn't get anything ably BOTW two but at least we got a Zelda game for this season
