When I was playing the game I was captivated by the story of D2R Items and how it played. This isn't the same as what I experienced in Diablo 3 where it was the game's gameplay that kept me playing however the story was swiftly lost. Add to that an open world, and I was more drawn to explore, while also imagining the ways I could build my Barbarian. It's the combination of gameplay and story that made the game I played in Diablo 4 so interesting and will be the same for those who love it when it comes out.
